I arrived in Canberra post Covid and was looking for a hobby where I could get active and meet new people. I chose Table Tennis as my winter sport and really got into it. It soon became my all year round sport. I am not an elite player but just love having hits and improving my overall coordination and fitness level.
My background is hospitality and I spent many years working across South East Asia opening and running hotels. So when you come to TTC you can be guaranteed to get great service because it is in our genes to look after everyone who walks through our doors.
My family has a little coffee shop in Bali where we have crafted our unique Indonesian blend of beans. Once our TTC healthy bar is up and running, your palette will appreciate the smooth rich flavour of those beans as I serve your preferred coffee.

Amirhossein "Amir" Hadad
I come from a family of 3 siblings with one brother and one sister, and being an uncle to my brother’s two daughters is one of the things I love most in my life. My journey to Canberra began when I received a scholarship from ANU to pursue a PhD in Computer Science in 2007, which laid the foundation for my career as an AI specialist.
Alongside my professional path, I re-discovered table tennis eight years ago, (I used to play as a kid). It quickly became my favorite sport and has become my lifelong passion. The game transformed my health, boosted my wellbeing, and even enhanced my performance at work by teaching me focus, precision, and perseverance. I deepened my involvement by earning my TT Coaching Level One certification and proudly served on the Table Tennis Australian Capital Territory (TTACT) board for over two years. Now, I’m excited to launch TTC—a new chapter and a meaningful way to give back to the table tennis community that has given me so much.

I am a wife and mum of 2 young children and my passion has always been sport, fitness and in the past several years, helping you progress your table tennis goals.
I started playing table tennis seriously in 2021 and in that time I have had the opportunity to play in venues across Australia. When the idea of developing a table tennis venue in Canberra came up, I was 100% onboard. I loved the concept of helping set up a facility for the wider Canberra community, a place where everyone could come and play no matter their level or ability.
Currently I am a member of the Australian National Para Table Tennis team, and in my situation TTC provides me the opportunity to train in a great environment to help progress my career. Pre my table tennis journey, I trained and competed for Australia for many years in track and field. I know first-hand how important a positive community is to our mental health when we are in training mode.
My Major Sporting Achievements:
-
Current Australian National Para Table Tennis Member
-
Multiple National Table Tennis Medallist
-
2x 2016 Rio Paralympics Bronze Medallist (Athletics)
-
Gold Medallist at the 2014 Commonwealth Games (Athletics)
-
Multiple National Champion and medallist between 2009-2017 in Athletics
About Us
We all grow better at table tennis together.
We are here for your table tennis journey, no matter what your motivation or skill level. Our first priority is fostering an encouraging environment and building a passionate and supportive table tennis community, our collective.

Our Story
The concept for a standalone table tennis business in Canberra was first proposed by Georgios “George” Logothetis in 2024. Finding others also equally passionate about building a high quality, passionate, and fun table tennis community, Table Tennis Collective (TTC) was born in early 2025. Established in the recreational precinct of Dairy Road, TTC has built itself on high quality products and services.
TTC is open to all players from all backgrounds, experiences, abilities and passions. We want to create the best table tennis environment for you, your friends, your family, and even your work colleagues! Table tennis is the new hobby that is easy to learn but challenging to master.
